Assistance is offered in a supportive and respectful manner, includes additional referrals as indicated, and leaves further decisions and actions in the hands of the individual seeking advice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>1. CUPFA&#8217;s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion team <\/b>coordinated by Jacqueline Peters welcomes discussion with CUPFA members on any EDI-related issues &#8211; a few examples include feelings of racist treatment, concerns related to gender or sexual orientation, how to avoid micro-aggressions in the classroom, <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">further assistance with disability concerns, <\/span>and more. <a href=\"mailto:EDI@cupfa.org\">EDI@cupfa.org\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>2. Concordia&#8217;s Sexual Assault Resource Centre<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a first point of confidential, non-judgemental contact for situations of sexual impropriety or violence &#8211; with a team ready to support, advise, and coordinate internal and external resources.\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.concordia.ca\/conduct\/sexual-assault\/about.html\">Sexual Assault Resource Centre<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>3. Concordia&#8217;s Employee Assistance Program<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> offers free <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">confidential\u00a0<\/span><b><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">counselling, information, treatment referrals, etc. in English and French 24 hours\/day, 7 days\/week (available to all Concordia employees as of July 2022). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.concordia.ca\/hr\/benefits\/eap.html\">Employee Assistance Program<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>4. Concordia&#8217;s Office of Rights and Responsibilities <\/b>and <b>Concordia&#8217;s Equity Office<\/b> are impartial, confidential, and independent services ready to help with concerns about the behaviour of any member of the Concordia community. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.concordia.ca\/conduct\/behavioural-integrity\/rights-responsibilities.html\">Office of Rights &#038; Responsibilities<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.concordia.ca\/equity.html\">Equity Office<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>5. Concordia&#8217;s Ombuds Office <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is\u00a0another <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">impartial, confidential, and independent service<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to promote fairness and assist with the informal resolution of concerns and complaints re: university policies, rules, procedures.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.concordia.ca\/offices\/ombuds.html\">\u00a0Ombuds Office<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>6.
